Inside My Sketchbook - Watercolor and Ink Musings

"Don't think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide whether it's good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art." -Andy Warhol Words to live by my friends. If art school has taught me anything, it's make something every single day. Creativity is a muscle and in order to keep it strong, you have to go to the metaphorical gym. I have a couple of large scale paintings in the works right now, so these have been my daily saviors. I love doing these quick 15-30 minute watercolor and ink paintings to relax and reconnect my brain when I am feeling stressed.

Here are some pages of what I've been working on lately:

Materials Used:

  • Canson XL Mixed Media Pad 7 x 10
  • Sakura Koi Watercolors
  • Daler Rowney FW Acrylic Arists Ink in Indigo
