April Music Club

Alright! Here we go better late than never. April was an insane month. So it's another short playlist, but mind you, it's full of amazing music. So many releases happened in April, and I still haven't had a chance to listen through all of the new stuff, so May Music Club should be a good one too.

Paramore - Hard Times

I have to be honest and say that although Riot! is one of my favorite albums ever, I didn't keep up with Paramore all that much throughout the years. I was pleasantly surprised to hear this different style from them and this honestly has SUMMER HIT written all over it.

Oh Wonder - Lifetimes

We all know I'm a fan of well-produced music, and GAH this is my jam. I love when people do interesting stuff with vocals and just simple synthy things in the background. Super mellow, great for roadtrips to the beach. A+.

Cold War Kids - Love is Mystical

I mean, this is just a fun song. I know it's gotten some negative criticism, but I enjoy it for what it is. The new album, LA DIVINE, is a weird mix of old and new sounds but overall I enjoyed it. I chose Love is Mystical because it was a fun dance-y song that I think anyone can get into or appreciate.

Cage the Elephant - Cold Cold Cold

It's been really amazing to follow this band since the beginning and hear how they've matured and kinda mellowed out through the years. This song has kinda resurfaced from their 2015 release, Tell Me I'm Pretty, due to a music video they released earlier in the year. It somehow made its way through my playlists and I found myself listening to it a lot this month.

The Maine - Lovely Little Lonely

Okay but are you really surprised? A Music Club first-- I've included a whole album on my list. Why? Because this album fucking touched my soul probably? Melodramatic, I know, but I love this band and you should probably listen to them.

That's all for now, again, SO SORRY this is late but I was travelling and then I came down with a nasty cold, which I'm still working myself through. See you next month!
